Tudor Submariner Ref. 79090 Blue

Sale price$0.00 USD

Straight Facts

The historic relationship between Tudor and Rolex dates back to 1926, when the founder of Rolex, Hans Wilsdorf wanted to create a brand with the same incredible quality, but a more affordable price point. Although the brands models acted independently, they both shared the most iconic of watches, the Submariner. This reference, the 79090 is in many collectors eyes, the last great vintage Tudor Submariner. This piece features a razor sharp case with nice bevels, mint blue dial with amazing and coveted patinated lume, vibrant bezel and a wonderfully tight original Tudor flip lock bracelet. Because of its acrylic crystal and hefty profile these Tudor Sub’s are easy to wear, while exemplifying all the traits that make the Submariner one of the all time great timepieces. This is a truly special piece and I couldn’t be happier to offer it in the Watch Shop!

*Some marks or spots on the dial are reflections or dust on the crystal and are due to high intensity strobe lighting used while photographing. They are not actually on the watch or visible in natural lighting.

From Rolex & Patek Philippe, to Cartier & Audemars Piguet. As collectors first, we love the small details that separate the Submariner from Daytona and Calatrava from Royal Oak. This is why you'll find our curated assortment spans decades of generations of models and brands. We believe that watches don't just tell time, they tell history - and life is too short to wear a boring watch.
