Rolex Submariner Ref. 1680 Red Mk. 4 Unpolished

SOLD

Straight Facts

The Rolex submariner has to be the most iconic watch ever produced. Its influence spans from its role in the first film production of James Bond (starring Sean Connery with his “Big Crown” Submariner) to its input on practically every dive watch produced since its inception. This exceptional piece produced in 1973 is one of the finest examples of a “Red Submariner” I have ever seen. Featuring a wonderfully patinated Mk. 4 dial, with some extraordinarily patinated lume, unpolished case with wide bevels and just the right amount of vintage charm. This all original Submariner is a truly special piece and I coudln’t be happier to offer it in the Watch Shop!

*Some marks or spots on the dial are reflections or dust on the crystal and are due to high intensity strobe lighting used while photographing. They are not actually on the watch or visible in natural lighting.

From Rolex & Patek Philippe, to Cartier & Audemars Piguet. As collectors first, we love the small details that separate the Submariner from Daytona and Calatrava from Royal Oak. This is why you'll find our curated assortment spans decades of generations of models and brands. We believe that watches don't just tell time, they tell history - and life is too short to wear a boring watch.
