Rolex GMT-Master Ref. 1675 Mk. 3 Radial W/ Papers

SOLD

Straight Facts

The Rolex GMT-Master is one of the most historic and iconic watches the brand ever produced. Although there is a long lineage of this model, the first pieces were commissioned by Pan American World Airways in the early 50’s for their fleet of pilots who needed access to different time zones. These early pieces were too fragile and delicate for the actual life of a pilot and therefor in 1959 the reference 1675 was introduced. This reference featured a larger case as well as crown-guards and an aluminum “Pepsi” bezel insert. This specific example, produced in 1977 features a thick and even case and one of the most coveted dials Rolex ever manufactured; the Mark 3 Radial. This dial was produced for an extremely short period of time and is a collector favorite because of its unique configuration. Not to mention that the fat font Pepsi insert that gives just the right amount of vintage charm. All original, in stunning condition and even retaining its original punched papers!

*Some marks or spots on the dial are reflections or dust on the crystal and are due to high intensity strobe lighting used while photographing. They are not actually on the watch or visible in natural lighting.

"As collectors themselves, Oliver and Clarke are on a mission to make buying vintage watches as painless as possible."

"The company focuses on good prices for its pieces, elite customer service and full transparency."

"The appointment-only space is inviting, with comfortable seating areas and exposed brick walls."

From Rolex & Patek Philippe, to Cartier & Audemars Piguet. As collectors first, we love the small details that separate the Submariner from Daytona and Calatrava from Royal Oak. This is why you'll find our curated assortment spans decades of generations of models and brands. We believe that watches don't just tell time, they tell history - and life is too short to wear a boring watch.
