Rolex Day-Date Ref. 1803 WG Matte Black Confetti Tiffany & Co.
Straight Facts
The Rolex Day-Date is possibly the most iconic wristwatch ever produced. From its beefy oyster case, which was only produced in precious metal, to its place on the wrist on countless celebrities and VIP’s, the Rolex Day-Date and its accompanying president bracelet is not only part of watchmaking history, but part of world history. However, this Day-Date is something extremely special. It was produced in 1966 out of stunning and coveted 18k White Gold. This material makes this piece a more stealthy option as well as a much more rare one. The case is razor sharp with thick, even lugs. The star of the show is the dial though. It is a matte black confetti, with possibly the most iconic and coveted signature in watchmaking history; Tiffany & Co. One of only a handful known and in exceptional condition this example rivals Rolex’s best. The matching, original 18k white gold president bracelet is tight and long and is super comfortable. This is truly a grail Day-Date and I couldn’t be happier to offer it in the Watch Shop!
*Some marks or spots on the dial are reflections or dust on the crystal and are due to high intensity strobe lighting used while photographing. They are not actually on the watch or visible in natural lighting.
