Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Ref 15313 - Al Naboodah Limited Edition of 50 Full set

Straight Facts

It’s not unfair to say that Audemars Piguet Royal is one of the most iconic watches ever made. Designed in 1972 by Gerald Genta, the Royal Oak completely changed the way that we look at a steel sports watch. For the first time, stainless steel was treated as a precious metal - receiving complex finishing techniques of brushing, polishing, and beveling - all by hand. The idea that its eight hexagonal bezel screws would be finely finished and left exposed for the wearer to see was a revolutionary thought. It’s no reason that the model became the calling card for the family owned Audemars Piguet - not to mention one of the most sought after watches in the world. So how do you make such an important and iconic watch even more desirable? Allow us to introduce you to the one-off reference 15313 ST. Never made available for public sale, and produced in a 50 piece run for the Emirati conglomerate Al Naboodah. While at first glance this appears to be a white dial jumbo Royal Oak - look closer. See those beautiful pastel colors from 6 to 9? Notice how the handset is blacked out? Flipping the watch over not only reveals the beautifully finished AP Calibre 3120, but the Al Naboodah logo, and 50th Anniversary text. As we said before - these were never sold publicly, have their own unique reference number, and is a very subtle way to have something incredibly special. The present example is in nearly new-old-stock condition with no visible marks or signs of use and comes complete with its full-suite of documents and boxes. Needless to say - we couldn’t be prouder to have this watch available in our shop.

*Some marks or spots on the dial are reflections or dust on the crystal and are due to high intensity strobe lighting used while photographing. They are not actually on the watch or visible in natural lighting.
