The Rolex Explorer and the 1016 reference in particular is one of the most iconic and coveted models in the vintage Rolex lineup. The 36mm case paired with the iconic 3,6,9 “Explorer” dial is a winning look that the brand continues to leave intact. This wonderful example from 1976 is one of the best pieces I've ever seen. The matte dial is dead mint and the lume has taken on a wonderful patina. Paired with the ever elusive and all original Tiffany and Co. signature this is really an Explorer grail. The unpolished case is thick and sharp and also features the coveted inventory number on the back of the lug. Truly an exceptional example.

Returns (accepted within 3 days of initial delivery of your purchase) must be sent overnight or by priority international delivery, fully insured and paid for by the customer. For payments via Credit Card, a 5% restocking fee will be in place for any returns or cancellations in order to cover our processing fee. Of course, watches must be returned in the same condition as initially shipped.
If you happen to trade a watch with us, which we always love, trades are final, except of course if the watch is grossly misdescribed or misrepresented.
