Tudor Submariner Date Ref. 79090 - Papers

Sale price$0.00 USD

The Submariner, namely those produced by Rolex, has long been considered the cream of the crop when it comes to watch collecting as a whole. Possibly the most iconic watch ever produced, the Submariner has long standing utilitarian roots that span decades, and everyone who’s anyone has been spotted wearing one. However, if you look deeper into the Submariner line, you may find a less known but just as incredible model manufactured by Tudor. These pieces are not only more unique and rare than the traditional Submariner, but offer much greater value.

Designed as a replacement for the quintessential Tudor ‘Snowflake’ Submariners, the reference 79090 is in many collectors eyes, the last great vintage Tudor Submariner.

This piece features a beautifully preserved case with nice bevels, exceptional black dial with evenly patinated lume, on a wonderfully tight 'folded-link' Tudor flip lock bracelet. Because of its acrylic crystal and modern wearing profile these Tudor Sub’s are easy to wear, while exemplifying all the traits that make the Submariner one of the all time great timepieces. This is a truly special piece that is in outstanding condition, and an excellent foray into the world of Tudor - or vintage watches in general.

*Some marks or spots on the dial are reflections or dust on the crystal and are due to high intensity strobe lighting used while photographing. They are not actually on the watch or visible in natural lighting.

From Rolex & Patek Philippe, to Cartier & Audemars Piguet. As collectors first, we love the small details that separate the Submariner from Daytona and Calatrava from Royal Oak. This is why you'll find our curated assortment spans decades of generations of models and brands.
