Rolex Day-Date Ref. 1803 - Blue Diamond Dial
Straight Facts
There is something to be said about flagship watches - and in the world of Rolex there is no more prestigious watch than the Day-Date, or President. Worn by heads of state, CEOs, celebrities, and anyone who’s ‘made-it’ - the Day-Date has only ever been made in precious metals - and white gold is not only one of the stealthier ways to do a solid-gold Rolex, but its also one of the rarest. While the case is identical to any 36mm Day-Date the white gold adds an understated stealth-wealth level to this piece.
The watch has an ‘if you know, you know’ element to it, and upon closer look of the dial you will also notice the factory diamond indices. Unlike the baguette cut diamonds normally featured, these round brilliants really make their mark and shine brightly. The stunning diamonds that Rolex chooses to use for its watches are of the highest quality and play off beautifully against the white gold case - and stunning blue sunburst dial. The unpolished case is nearly perfect and by offering it on a leather strap, this piece is far more subtle than you would expect from a precious metal gem-set Rolex. For those who want the best, there can only be one choice - The Rolex Day-Date.
*Some marks or spots on the dial are reflections or dust on the crystal and are due to high intensity strobe lighting used while photographing. They are not actually on the watch or visible in natural lighting.
