Have a great day!
The Day-Date was available for many years on a matching solid gold bracelet (called a 'President' bracelet), but also on a leather strap like the example that we have here.
The piece that we have here, a Reference 1803 from circa 1963, is an excellent example finished in solid white gold with a simply outstanding silver dial within. The case itself has been lightly previously polished, retaining symmetrical lugs at all four corners and showing light signs of wear throughout. The 'Swiss Only' dial within is simply stunning. The sunburst silver surface is crisp and vibrant and the applied faceted indices and 'obelisk' handset compliment it beautifully. The luminous plots are Radium (as denoted by the 'Swiss' signature at the 6 o'clock position) and remain fully-intact and with a deep, even patina.
Especially when fitted to a leather strap, this 'elevated' piece remains very much under-the-radar. If you know, you know.Condition:

From Rolex & Patek Philippe, to Cartier & Audemars Piguet. As collectors first, we love the small details that separate the Submariner from Daytona and Calatrava from Royal Oak. This is why you'll find our curated assortment spans decades of generations of models and brands. We believe that watches don't just tell time, they tell history - and life is too short to wear a boring watch.
