Movado M95 Super Sub Sea Chronograph

SOLD

Vintage Movado watches have skyrocketed in popularity in recent years, and none more than the chronographs featuring the brand’s famous M95 movement. However, this is no ordinary M95. In fact, it is one of the rarest and most desirable pieces ever produced. Almost all M95’s were cased in 35mm cases and were rugged, yet delicate. This example is very different. It is a “Super Sub Sea” model that is cased in a sharp 40mm stainless steel, yet it still retains many of the characteristics that make the more common M95 incredible. It features an incredible brushed gilt reverse panda dial that has remained in exceptional condition with puffy custard lume gracing the dial as well as the iconic shovel handset that are proprietary to this model. Not to mention that this example features the rarest bezel ever produced on this model in the DON Tachymeter bezel. But it doesn’t stop there. Not only has the watch retained its original shovel handset, but its “Kris” subdial hands are also preserved and in excellent original condition. This is a real grail of all Movado collecting. These pieces almost never come up for public sale, so this is a rare opportunity to snag both an extremely desirable and beautiful vintage chronograph! This is a truly special piece and I couldn’t be happier to offer it in the Watch Shop!

From Rolex & Patek Philippe, to Cartier & Audemars Piguet. As collectors first, we love the small details that separate the Submariner from Daytona and Calatrava from Royal Oak. This is why you'll find our curated assortment spans decades of generations of models and brands. We believe that watches don't just tell time, they tell history - and life is too short to wear a boring watch.
