Movado M95 Chronograph - 'Reverse Panda'

Sale price$10,950.00 USD

While it may be hard to imagine based upon their product line today, Movado Laboratories (yes, that was the full name) once made watches that were beautifully designed, well made, and respected — up there with some other great manufacturers.

The piece that we have here, an M95 Chronograph, is simply named after the Movado Manufacture M95 movement inside of it — and while these were produced with a variety of dial configurations, this 'reverse panda' is one of the more desirable. It features a beautiful, classically sized waterproof case in stainless steel, made by François Borgel (the same case-maker who manufactured the Patek 1463 “Tasti-Tondi), the aforementioned manual-winding M95 Calibre produced by Movado themselves, and a matching Movado-signed stainless steel multi-link bracelet.

The dial remains in great condition overall, showing just one notable blemish at the 7 o'clock marker and lume loss throughout. The 'radial' silver sub registers set within the glossy black dial renders a dramatic visual impact and highly legible layout.

Any nice M95’s have become extremely coveted by collectors and don't come to market as often as you may think — so don't miss out on this gorgeous, well-rounded example!

From Rolex & Patek Philippe, to Cartier & Audemars Piguet. As collectors first, we love the small details that separate the Submariner from Daytona and Calatrava from Royal Oak. This is why you'll find our curated assortment spans decades of generations of models and brands. We believe that watches don't just tell time, they tell history - and life is too short to wear a boring watch.
