Gallet Multichron Yachting
Straight Facts
Gallet as a brand has skyrocketed in popularity in the last few years and for good reason. They were one of the absolute best manufacturers of the mid 20th century and revolutionized functional chronographs as we know them today. This example happens to be one of the true grails of Gallet. It is a Gallet Yachting which was a model fist developed in 1949 to time regattas and yachting races. Its intricate chronograph caliber, modified by Gallet themselves, was made to operate seamlessly when just a few seconds truly mattered. Its uniqueness can be seen in the offset minute counter that allows the user to time a regatta in the perfect intervals. This example happens to be one of the most well-preserved I have ever seen. The dial in fantastic shape with only very light wear and the case is sharp and thick. The solid stainless steel waterproof case boasts an impressive size at over 37mm and wears incredibly, allowing it to both slide under the cuff and stand prominently. The blued hands work beautifully with the red accents to give a look that is not only striking, but breathtaking. This is truly a special piece and I couldn’t be happier to offer it in the Watch Shop!
*Marks, spots, and some scratches on the dial are in fact reflections or dust on the crystal and are due to high intensity strobe lighting used while photographing. They are not actually on the watch or visible in normal lighting.

This is why you'll find our curated assortment spans decades of generations of models and brands. We believe that watches don't just tell time, they tell history - and life is too short to wear a boring watch.
