Tudor Submariner Ref. 7021/0 - Blue Snowflake

SOLD

STRAIGHT FACTS

The Submariner, namely those produced by Rolex, has long been considered the cream of the crop when it comes to watch collecting as a whole. Possibly the most iconic watch ever produced, the Submariner has long standing utilitarian roots that span decades, and everyone who’s anyone has been spotted wearing one. However, if you look deeper into the Submariner line, you may find a less known but just as incredible model manufactured by Tudor. These pieces are not only more unique and rare than the traditional Submariner, but offer much greater value.

This example, known as the snowflake because of its trademark hands and indices, is truly one of the most desired references. Exhibiting the patina that we love and look for in vintage watches - this Submariner has been well loved. The dial is the signature Tudor Blue which has beautifully aged, with the lume taking on a deep pumpkin color on showing rocky texture and gentle fading throughout. The 'snowflake' handset echos that deep patination matching the dial. The case has been gently polished in the past, but retains its strong lines and bevels which give this Submariner it's classic shape. Further featuring a faded 'Long 5' bezel insert, this is a watch that exudes pure vintage charm. Attached to a vintage style 'side-stitch' leather strap, this is an iconic reference that continues to inspire the modern Tudor brand to this day. As the expression goes, you can’t know where you’re going until you know where you’re from.

*Some marks or spots on the dial are reflections or dust on the crystal and are due to high intensity strobe lighting used while photographing. They are not actually on the watch or visible in natural lighting.

From Rolex & Patek Philippe, to Cartier & Audemars Piguet. As collectors first, we love the small details that separate the Submariner from Daytona and Calatrava from Royal Oak. This is why you'll find our curated assortment spans decades of generations of models and brands. We believe that watches don't just tell time, they tell history - and life is too short to wear a boring watch.
