Cyma Clamshell Case Oversized Gilt Chronograph
Gilt dial chronographs are some of my personal favorites and this gorgeous Cyma happens to be one of the best examples I’ve ever seen. Any true gilt dial is a coveted commodity, but this configuration is one of the rarest and most beautiful! It features three tones of gilt: rose gold, white gold and yellow gold. These multi colored scales had to be individually hand applied and through hours of arduous labor came to be in this superb glossy galvanic dial. But even though the dial is exquisite, the condition is just as exemplary. Its super rare 38mm clamshell case is 100% unpolished with razor sharp edges and factory finishing throughout and its dial is glossy. This is thought to be one of only a handful of pieces ever produced for promotional purposes and therefore is one of the most coveted watches the brand ever produced. All together and fitted with the extraordinary Valjoux 22 caliber this is truly one of the most wonderful pieces to ever hit the Watch Shop!
*Some marks or spots on the dial are reflections or dust on the crystal and are due to high intensity strobe lighting used while photographing. They are not actually on the watch or visible in natural lighting.

From Rolex & Patek Philippe, to Cartier & Audemars Piguet. As collectors first, we love the small details that separate the Submariner from Daytona and Calatrava from Royal Oak. This is why you'll find our curated assortment spans decades of generations of models and brands. We believe that watches don't just tell time, they tell history - and life is too short to wear a boring watch.
